This course provides an overview of the foundational requirements, skills, and tools for effective Bible study within its Hebrew, Jewish, and Global contexts.  Exegesis is the task of drawing out from the Bible its original intent and meaning.  This foundation is the primary requirement for effective proclamation and teaching.  To this end, the student will understand the exegetical task and its disciplines for effective and inspiring Bible Study.
